Quinco Electrical Earns National ABC Safety Designation

Central Florida-Quinco Electrical, Inc., an electrical sub contractor based out of Orlando, Florida, has achieved the Gold Level in the Safety, Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) and will be honored at the annual STEP banquet held on July 28, 2011 at the Hilton in downtown Orlando, Florida.

The Safety Training Evaluation Process in a benchmarking tool that helps ABC members improve and build upon their safety and training programs; key programs for construction companies due to the increased risk of injuries and higher rate in incidents than other business types.

STEP provides contractors with a consistent, effective tool to evaluate safety training programs by using 20 standard key components of safety. Each component focuses on specific safety and training areas essential to a successful, effective safety program.
